Alexander Rybak receives a puzzle.

17 June 2009, 08:38

On assignment from the Norwegian toy chain Ringo we recently delivered 8000 Mini puzzles. These were used as part of a campaign where the chain’s stores handed out the puzzles for free to their customers. The motif of the puzzle is the teddy from the Ringo logo, which is playing the violin. On the below image Alexander Rybak, the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow, has received a copy of the puzzle. It is reported that he was both pleased and touched when he received it. Did it feel like a “Fairytale”? Well, we dont know for sure, but mayby it did.
The order of the puzzles was for swift delivery, and we delivered the puzzles in less than a week after we received the artwork.

Historical puzzles

04 January 2008, 08:56

When our first historical puzzle (HL1) was made, it became popular at once.
In the lower left corner are pictures of creatures living in Triassic period more than 200 million years ago, and along a diagonal line to the upper right corner are species developing in the Jurassic-, Cretaceous-, Tertiary- and Quaternary period to the modern man of today.
1 cm of the puzzle is about 6 million years, and all the species have been drawn on the same scale.

In 2007 came "The road from ape to human" (HL3). The concept is similar as HL1, but here we show the evolution from ape to human. We also show animals our ancestors met on their way. Paths illustrate how species have developed and became extinct when the path ends.

"The Vikings" (HL2) was made after a new idea. Along the upper and lower edge there are drawings, years and names of famous Vikings, and by each drawing are pieces with historical facts. Each piece with information fits only by the right person. At the map in the middle are the routes where they travelled, and there are many pieces with a lot of historical facts from the Viking age.

"The Romans" (HL4), "Ancient Egypt" (HL5) and "Ancient Greece" HL6 are based on the same consept as The Vikings. There is a central historical map with a lot of information, and along the edges are historical persons and gods. You will also find famous buildings, monuments, ships etc.
